دلياني: دولة الإبادة الإسرائيلية تفرض حصاراً على كنيسة القيامة وتكسر تفاهمات الوضع التاريخي القائم
القدس، فلسطيـ البيادر السياسي ـ أكد ديمتري دلياني، رئيس التجمع الوطني المسيحي في الأراضي المقدسة، أن دولة الإبادة الإسرائيلية ارتكبت جريمة متعمدة عندما منعت قواتها الاحتلالية صباح اليوم غبطة الكاردينال بييرباتيستا بيتسابالا وحارس الأراضي المقدسة الأب فرانشيسكو يلبو من الوصول إلى كنيسة القيامة في أحد الشعانين، في سابقة تضرب جوهر الترتيبات التاريخية الناظمة للحياة الدينية في القدس.
وأوضح دلياني أن هذا القرار صادر عن إرادة سياسية – أيديولوجية واضحة تستهدف تقويض الوضع القائم الذي تأسس بفرمانات عثمانية منذ القرن التاسع عشر وتكرّس باعتراف دولي وكنسي متواصل، وأن المساس به يشكل انتهاكاً مباشراً لالتزامات تاريخية ضامنة لحرية العبادة والوصول إلى المقدسات في القدس وباقي انحاء الأراضي المقدسة.
وأشار رئيس التجمع الوطني المسيحي في الأراضي المقدسة إلى أن هذا الاعتداء يأتي ضمن مسار تصعيدي موثق، حيث سجل مركز روسينغ أكثر من 100 اعتداء نفذه مستوطنون إسرائيليون خلال عام 2023 استهدفت رجال الدين والكنائس والمقابر، وشملت اعتداءات جسدية وتدنيساً وتخريباً متكرراً للمقدسات وملاحقات يومية في شوارع القدس المحتلة. كما تثبت تقارير وزارة الخارجية الأميركية أن القيود على العبادة المسيحية والاعتداءات على رجال الدين تشكل واقعاً مفروضاً تحت سلطة الاحتلال.
وشدد دلياني على أن هذه السياسات تستهدف المسلمين والمسيحيين معاً ضمن منظومة قمع ديني منظم نابع من الايديولوجية التأسيسية لدولة الاحتلال، وأن ما جرى اليوم يشكل سابقة خطيرة تعمّق استهداف الوجود المسيحي الأصيل في القدس المحتلة وتهدد استمراريته التاريخية.

The National Christian Coalition in the Holy Land condemns the illegitimate obstruction carried out this morning by Israeli occupation forces, who barred His Beatitude Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa and the Custos of the Holy Land, the Most Reverend Fr. Francesco Ielpo, from entering the Church of the Holy Sepulchre on Palm Sunday. This Israeli assault stemmed from a decision that was political in nature and ideologically driven. It violates the Status Quo arrangements, rooted in Ottoman firmans and upheld through successive legal frameworks that have regulated access to Jerusalem’s holy sites for generations.
Dimitri Diliani, President of The National Christian Coalition in the Holy Land, stated: “Israeli occupation authorities are not operating in isolation from a broader anti-Christian pattern. The Rossing Center for Education and Dialogue documented more than 100 Israeli terrorist assaults in 2023 targeting Christian clergy, churches, and cemeteries. These include physical assaults, desecration of burial grounds, and harassment in the streets of occupied Jerusalem itself.”
Diliani added: “The US State Department has confirmed that Israeli restrictions on Christian worship and harassment of clergy form part of a sustained reality in the city. These violations unfold under Israeli occupation authorities that exercise full military and administrative control over occupied Jerusalem.”
This trajectory affects Palestinian Muslims and Christians alike, placing both in a system that restricts non-Jewish religious life and undermines the shared fabric of the Holy City.
This morning’s Israeli assault on historical legal Christian rights establishes a grave precedent. It weakens long-standing protections, disrupts a fragile legal order, and adds to the direct Israeli threats imposed on the continuity of the Christian indigenous presence in Jerusalem and the rest of the Holy Land.
