دلياني: الاحتلال الإسرائيلي يصعّد اضطهاده الديني في القدس مع احتفالات عيد القيامة
لقدس المحتلة- البيادر السياسي:ـ قال ديمتري دلياني، عضو المجلس الثوري والمتحدث باسم تيار الإصلاح الديمقراطي في حركة فتح، إنّ “الاحتلال الإسرائيلي يكشف اليوم، مرة أخرى، عن طبيعته العدوانية تجاه اي وجود غير يهودي في القدس العربية المحتلة، من خلال تحويل البلدة القديمة إلى ثكنة عسكرية مُحكمة خلال اسبوع الالام وسبت النور وأحد القيامة، حيث طوقت آلاف من عناصر قوات الاحتلال المقدسات المسيحية، وعلى رأسها كنيسة القيامة، ومنعت المصلين من ابناء شعبنا والحجاج الأجانب من الوصول إليها، وعطلت الطقوس الدينية والتقليدية الضاربة جذورها في تاريخ القدس.”
وفي تعليقه على مشاهد الحصار والقمع التي شهدتها المدينة، أضاف دلياني: “ما يجري هو امتداد لعقيدة راسخة في الفكر الصهيوني، حيث تصور تيودور هرتزل، منذ عام ١٨٩٨، مدينة القدس وقد أُفرغت من سكانها الأصليين من المسيحيين والمسلمين، ورآنا العقل الصهيوني منذ حينها على اننا عائقاً أمام تحقيق مشروعه للهيمنة الاستعمارية.”
وأشار القيادي الفتحاوي إلى أن “البنية القانونية للاحتلال الإسرائيلي لا تقتصر على التمييز المؤسسي، بل تشرعن أيضاً الاضطهاد الديني بحق المسيحيين والمسلمين. فإلى جانب ‘قانون أساس: إسرائيل الدولة القومية للشعب اليهودي’ لعام ٢٠١٨، الذي يُكرس السيادة اليهودية وينكر الهوية الدينية والوطنية لغير اليهود، يمتد هذا الإطار التمييزي إلى منظومة أعمق من التشريعات الاستعمارية مثل قانون أملاك الغائبين لعام ١٩٥٠، وقانون الدخول إلى ‘إسرائيل’ لعام ١٩٥٢، وقانون المواطنة لعام ٢٠٠٣، وعشرات القوانين الأخرى التي تشرعن مصادرة الأراضي وتهميش الوجود غير اليهودي.”
ولفت دلياني إلى أن “هذا الإطار القانوني الاحتلالي الجائر يعمل بتكامل كامل مع مشروع استعماري أوسع يقوم على التطهير العرقي بحق شعبنا الفلسطيني، ويتجسد بأبشع صوره في الإبادة الجماعية المتواصلة في قطاع غزة، ونظام الفصل العنصري المفروض على الضفة الغربية المحتلة وعلى رأسها مدينة القدس العربية. فالسياسة الاحتلالية في القدس لا تقتصر على عسكرة المدينة وإغلاق أماكن العبادة وملاحقة المصلين، بل تهدف إلى محو الامتداد الروحي والثقافي والجغرافي لشعبنا الفلسطيني.”
وختم المتحدث باسم تيار الإصلاح الديمقراطي في حركة فتح بالتأكيد على أن القدس يجب أن تستعيد موقعها الطبيعي كأيقونة روحية جامعة للإنسانية، كما كانت قبل الاحتلال الإسرائيلي غير الشرعي. فاستهداف ابناء شعبنا المسلمين والمسيحيين يمثل جريمة إبادة ثقافية لن تنجح في اجتثاث الهوية الفلسطينية المتجذرة في أحجار مدينة القدس وشعابها، ولن تنال من حقوقنا الوطنية والدينية الراسخة بإرادة شعبنا الصلبة التي لا تسقط بالتقادم.”

Today, as the Christian world celebrates Easter in joy and freedom, Palestinian Christian children in Gaza mark the holy day in the shadows of the state of Israel’s ongoing genocide, confined to makeshift shelters under indiscriminate bombardment, stripped of both the sanctity of childhood and the universal right to rejoice. Simultaneously, in occupied Jerusalem, Palestinian Christians and international pilgrims endure systematic religious persecution, violently denied their right to fulfill sacred rites by the state of Israel’s occupation forces. Yesterday, on Holy Fire Saturday, a ceremony rooted in the living heart of Palestinian Christian tradition, the Israeli occupation forces sealed the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, physically assaulted worshippers, and obstructed ancient commemorations, carrying out a flagrant assault on religious freedom. The militarization of the Holy City and the suppression of Christian and Muslim worshippers are deliberate mechanisms of a broader Israeli colonial enterprise, designed to eradicate Jerusalem’s authentic multicultural and spiritual identity. This entrenched Israeli policy of religious persecution against non-Jews in the Holy Land is emblematic of a broader genocidal regime, systematically seeking to eradicate the indigenous Palestinian Christian and Muslim presence and supplant it with a false supremacist Zionist narrative rooted in settler-colonial domination.
Dimitri Diliani, spokesperson for Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction, stated: “The state of Israel has once again laid bare its institutionalized hostility toward the indigenous Christian presence in Jerusalem by transforming the Old City into a militarized fortress during the Holy Fire Saturday ceremonies. Thousands of heavily armed occupation forces encircled Christian holy sites, foremost among them the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, severely restricted access for Palestinian Christian worshippers and international Christian pilgrims, and violently obstructed rites rooted in centuries of unbroken tradition, in a chilling violation of Articles 18 and 27 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.”
Diliani continued: “This assault represents the continuation of a doctrine deeply entrenched in Zionist ideology, wherein, as early as 1898, Theodor Herzl envisioned a Jerusalem stripped of its indigenous non-Jewish populations, perceiving the Christian and Muslim heritage of the city as obstacles to the realization of a supremacist Zionist colonial entitlement.”
The spokesperson further stated: “The state of Israel’s legal architecture codifies not only systemic discrimination but institutionalizes religious persecution against Christians and Muslims. This is not limited to the Basic Law: Israel as the Nation-State of the Jewish People (2018), which enshrines Jewish supremacy and erases the legal recognition of non-Jewish religious and national identities. It is rooted in a deeper, long-standing legal tradition of exclusion, embodied in laws such as the Absentees’ Property Law (1950), the Entry into Israel Law (1952), the Citizenship and Entry into Israel Law (2003), and dozens of discriminatory laws and regulations that collectively dispossess and marginalize non-Jews. These laws have reduced sacred Christian and Muslim traditions under Israeli occupation to securitized anomalies, structurally relegating our communities to a status of perpetual inferiority.”
Diliani elaborated: “This legal regime operates hand in hand with an ongoing colonial project of ethnic cleansing against Palestinian Christians and Muslims, manifested in the genocide perpetrated in Gaza and the entrenched apartheid regime imposed upon the West Bank. The state of Israel’s policy of religious domination is enacted through the military closure of religious sites, the violent policing of worshippers, and the arbitrary denial of access to churches, mosques, cemeteries, and pilgrimage routes. It constitutes a comprehensive strategy designed to dismantle the spiritual, cultural, and territorial continuity of the indigenous Palestinian people subjected to Israeli military occupation.”
Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction affirms that Jerusalem’s sacred character must be restored as a living testament to the shared spiritual inheritance of humanity, as it was before the state of Israel’s illegitimate occupation of the Holy City. The systematic targeting of Palestinian Christians and Muslims constitutes an act of cultural genocide that will neither extinguish the Palestinian identity woven into the historical fabric of Jerusalem, nor erode the national and religious rights that are anchored in the unbreakable will of the Palestinian people and in the enduring legitimacy of international law.
