دلياني: اعتقال الاحتلال النائب الطيراوي وأبنائه جريمة سياسية لاستهداف التمثيل الوطني الفلسطيني

قال ديمتري دلياني، عضو المجلس الثوري والمتحدث باسم تيار الإصلاح الديمقراطي في حركة فتح، إن إقدام جيش الإبادة الإسرائيلي على اعتقال القائد الفتحاوي والنائب جمال الطيراوي وعدد من أبنائه، اثناء اقتحام مدينة نابلس، جريمة سياسية بامتياز تستهدف البنية الوطنية والتمثيل الشرعي لشعبنا الفلسطيني.
وأضاف دلياني أن اعتقال نائب منتخب هو اعتداء مباشر على الإرادة الشعبية ومحاولة لتجريد الإنسان الفلسطيني من حقه الطبيعي في التمثيل السياسي، في انتهاك فاضح للقانون الدولي الإنساني والعهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق المدنية والسياسية. وأشار إلى أن سلطات الاحتلال اعتقلت منذ أكتوبر ٢٠٢٣ أكثر من ٩,٠٠٠ فلسطيني وفلسطينية في القدس وباقي انحاء الضفة الغربية، بينهم مئات القيادات والكوادر التنظيمية والطلابية.
وأكد دلياني أن استهداف الطيراوي، بما يمثله من تاريخ نضالي ودور تشريعي، يندرج في إطار سياسة احتلالية لتفريغ المجتمع الفلسطيني من قياداته المناضلة، ومحاولة كسر روح نابلس وسائر مدن الضفة الغربية التي لم تتوقف عن النضال في وجه مشروع الإبادة والتطهير العرقي الاسرائيلي. ودعا إلى تحرك وطني موحد وضغط عربي ودولي للإفراج الفوري عن الطيراوي وكافة الأسرى والرهائن المختطفين في مراكز التعذيب الاسرائيلية.

A senior Fatah Reformist official on Saturday accused Israel of using kidnappings of political and grass roots leaders in the occupied West Bank as a tool to dismantle Palestinian political life, after Israeli forces kidnapped MP Jamal Tirawi during a raid on the occupied city of Nablus.
Dimitri Diliani, a member of the Revolutionary Council and spokesperson for Fatah’s Reformist Democratic Faction, said the kidnapping of Mr. Tirawi, a Fatah leader and member of the Palestinian Legislative Council, along with his children, amounted to “a deliberate political crime targeting Palestinian national representation.”
“The abduction of an elected parliamentarian is a direct assault on the will of the Palestinian people and an attempt to strip us of our natural right to have a vocal political representation,” Diliani said. He argued that the move violated the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, citing Articles 9 and 25, as well as provisions of the Fourth Geneva Convention governing the conduct of an occupying power toward a protected population.
Since October 2023, Israeli genocidal authorities have kidnapped more than 9,000 Palestinians in Jerusalem and the rest of the occupied West Bank, including “hundreds of political, social and student leaders,” Diliani said, describing the arrests as part of a systematic effort to break organized political struggle against Israeli genocide and ethnic cleansing.
He called for Arab and international pressure to secure the release of Mr. Tirawi and all Palestinian hostages and POWs held in Israeli detention camps, prisons and interrogation centers, where torture and ill treatment were widely documented.
